RESULTS:
Zovirax Cold Sore Cream is safe for use during pregnancy. It is recommended that patients no longer take zovirax Cold Sore Treatment for longer than 14 days after initial treatment with zovirax Cold Sore. It is not recommended for use in children under 12 years of age. Its effects are most severe at the doses used and with high doses. If the use-by date has expired, the use-by date will be used only for advice and treatment.
Zovirax Cold Sore Treatment is a topical treatment for cold sores. Cold sores are blisters that appear on the skin around the genitals and in the mouth. Cold sores are usually small, typically one or two white tingles spreading to the affected area five times daily for 4 days. If you are experiencing a cold sore affecting the face or cold sore affecting the genitals, it is important to stop the use of zovirax Cold Sore Cream and contact a doctor as soon as possible after the first occurrence of tingle and then a further four days after the first cold sore has spread.
Before using Zovirax Cold Sore Treatment contact a doctor or pharmacist:
Tell a doctor or pharmacist if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or if you are breastfeeding. Topical treatments are not recommended in children under 12 years of age.
Zovirax Cold Sore Treatment is usually taken for 4 days. Follow the label fully. Do not use more than the recommended dose. If the use-by date has expired, the treatment will be discontinued and the other cream will be back in the bottle for the next dose.

Stages of the virus
After the itchy, tingly stage, the site of the cold sore gradually develops into a blister or a small group of blisters, surrounded by red and swollen skin.
After a day or so these burst to produce the typical open sore.
Like a sore anywhere on your body, these sores gradually dry up and form a crusty scab, which is usually a yellow-brown colour.
The sore gradually heals.
The scab falls off over a few days and should completely disappear after around 10 days, or faster with the use of Zovirax Cold Sore Cream.
The area may be a bit swollen for few days.
